Standlee Premium Western Forage Timothy Grass Grab & Go Compressed Bales are made from high-quality, sun-cured timothy grass. The forage is compressed and shrink-wrapped to make each bale easier to handle, transport, and store.
Highly palatable and naturally high in digestible fiber, Timothy Grass provides low-to-moderate protein for horses on maintenance diets or performing light-to-moderate work. It is also a good option for mature horses and easy keepers that do not require the higher protein levels found in alfalfa.
Each bale contains 50 pounds of natural-length forage. Cut the bands 8–10 hours before feeding to allow the compressed bale time to expand.
Growing horses: Recommended for horses experiencing slow-to-moderate growth
Mature horses: Suitable for mature horses on maintenance diets
Easy keepers: Lower in protein than alfalfa, making it a useful forage option for overweight horses and easy keepers

Weigh before feeding: Weigh the amount of forage provided to each horse to ensure the correct amount is being fed. Compressed forage can weigh more than its appearance suggests.
Opening the bale: Cut the bands 8–10 hours before feeding to allow the compressed bale to expand and help prevent overfeeding.
Transition period: Gradually replace existing hay with Standlee forage over 7–10 days.
Replacing existing hay: Replace existing hay on a one-to-one basis by weight, not by flake size or volume.
Maximum feeding rates for additional species:
Cattle: 3% of body weight
Donkeys: 1.5% of body weight
Goats: 4% of body weight
Llamas: 2% of body weight
Water: Always provide free access to fresh, clean water.
Important: Never feed moldy or insect-infested forage to animals.
Store in a covered, cool, and well-ventilated environment protected from weather and moisture.
Sort and remove any foreign materials before feeding.
Discard any wet, soiled, moldy, or insect-infested forage immediately.
