Introducing Standlee Alfalfa Compressed Bale

Standlee Premium Western Forage Alfalfa Compressed Bales are made from high-quality, sun-cured alfalfa. The forage is compressed and shrink-wrapped, making each bale easier to handle, transport, and store.

Naturally high in calories and digestible fiber, alfalfa provides a valuable source of protein, vitamin A, and calcium. It is an excellent forage option for growing, underweight, and performance horses, as well as late-pregnancy and lactating mares.

Each bale contains 50 pounds of natural-length alfalfa forage. Cut the bands 8–10 hours before feeding to allow the compressed bale time to expand.

Growing horses: Recommended for young horses experiencing rapid growth
Underweight horses: Provides calories and protein for horses that need help gaining or maintaining weight
Performance horses: Offers additional energy for horses with increased exercise demands
Carbohydrate-sensitive horses: Listed by Standlee as an appropriate forage option for horses with carbohydrate sensitivities
Gastric health: Recommended for horses prone to gastric ulcers
Breeding animals: Recommended for mares in late pregnancy and lactation
Additional species: May be incorporated into feeding programs for cattle, donkeys, goats, and llamas
