We first started using the 30% over the winter for our old hens and it increased their output significantly

When we got new chicks this spring (30 of them), we decided to go ahead and use it for them as well. We can honestly say that these are he healthiest batch we have raised.

In both cases (new and old), we found a very significant improvement over using other feeds so we’ve continued to use it all the way through.
Our new hens are now all laying beautifully and four of our old hens (the four remaining) are also laying consistently.

I keep thinking maybe we will switch to the 24% or 20% but then I think why bother, they’re doing great on the 30% and so we’ve stuck with it.
